What does uplighting change about the room?

Uplights add color and depth to walls, columns and the perimeter of your venue. Instead of relying only on ceiling lights, you can give the room a warmer, softer or more colorful atmosphere that works with your decor.

How is uplighting different from dance floor lighting?

Uplighting shapes the look of the room by lighting walls and architectural details. Dance floor lighting adds movement and effects around the party. The two can be combined, but uplighting packages do not automatically include moving lights.

Can we choose the colors?

Yes. Custom color matching is included in every package. Share your palette, decor or inspiration photos and we’ll help you choose a color direction. The room’s finishes and existing lighting can affect how a color appears.

How many uplights do we need?

Essential includes 24 wireless uplights, Signature includes 32 and Platinum includes 48. The best fit depends on your room’s size, columns, walls and layout. Send us a venue photo or floor plan so we can recommend the placement.

Are your uplights wireless?

Yes. All three packages include wireless uplights for a clean setup around the room. We plan their positions around your layout and event schedule, keeping the focus on the atmosphere and decor.

Is delivery, setup and breakdown included?

Yes. All uplighting packages include professional delivery, setup, custom color matching, breakdown and placement based on your venue layout. A $1,000 minimum service total applies to bookings requiring delivery and setup. Travel fees may apply based on the event location.

Why are there $500 and $800 packages if the minimum is $1,000?

The $500 Essential and $800 Signature prices are individual package prices. For a booking requiring delivery and setup, your combined service total must reach $1,000. You can add other services to reach that amount. We’ll confirm the complete service total and any travel fees in your quote.

Can uplighting be used outdoors?

Tell us about the outdoor area before booking. We’ll review the location, access, conditions and venue requirements, then confirm whether we can provide a suitable setup for that space.

Can the lighting colors change during the event?

If you want a different look for dinner and dancing, mention it during planning. We’ll discuss the changes you have in mind and confirm the control and service options included in your quote.

How do we book uplighting with Curate?

Send your date, venue and preferred package through our contact form. Include your color palette or inspiration photos if you have them. We’ll check availability, recommend a setup and prepare a quote for your event.
